History of the school: Indian Academy of Garba & Dodhiya (IAGD) is a Surat, India, based Art Academy & Research center. The Academy envisions itself as the center of sustaining the primeval Indian Culture by imparting sacred Indian Cultural knowledge to global citizens. YoGGarbA is the concept invented by Anish Rangrej & introduced by the academy in the year 2019. With 26 years of the spiritual journey of Anish Rangrej (owner), he and his associates together are striving for the last decade to make a healthy & happy lifestyle by doing research on the physical, emotional, and psychological health benefits obtained from the two Indian cultural activities i.e. Yoga & Garba. The ultimate purpose of the academy is to maintain happiness, peace & prosperity to the eternal mankind.

Details of School Owner: Mr. Anish Rangrej is an Indian International Artist and the inventor of YoGGarbA®. A man with a vision to preserve the sacred Indian Culture is the owner & founder of his own Indian Academy of Garba and Dodhiya (IAGD). He is a researcher & a keen enthusiast about Garba. Playing Garba for last 24 years, Mr. Anish Rangrej has mastered the skills and art of playing garba and dodhiya. YoGGarbA® is the boon provided him to the nation from the passion and love that he possesses for the traditional dance form in his 18 years of coaching success. His dedication towards YoGGarbA® has contributed a lot to society. Academically, he has completed Masters of Business Administration in Human Resources. Currently, he is pursuing his doctorate from a renowned Indian Institute."
